Dress for Success's goal is to equip women with the tools they need to succeed in the workplace and in life, including a network of support, business dress, and professional accessories.
Since our organization's founding in 1997, more than 1.2 million women have benefited from Dress for Success. 150 cities in the United States, Australia, Canada, Ireland, Mexico, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Poland, the United Kingdom, and the West Indies have affiliate locations for Dress for Success.
Role responsibilities:
After completing your program, you'll be able to make a difference in the lives of women by boosting their confidence when they enter the job, go to school, have interviews, participate in practicums, etc. Our clients receive 3+ outfits from suitings to assist them in feeling comfortable entering new situations. You will collaborate with a group of two to three stylists to assist a client in selecting an outfit for an interview, a job, or a practicum. You will support and direct this impending transition as a team.
Time commitment:
The majority of the scheduled suitings take place in the evenings, and volunteers are asked to complete one every month. Volunteers can sign up according to their schedule using a calendar that they have access to. Suitings typically take two to three hours, while some take less time.
